Comparison Between Recursive Least Squares Method and Kalman Filter for Online Identification of Supercapacitor State of Health

چکیده

Supercapacitors are electrochemical components with high-power density and an intermediate energy between batteries conventional capacitors. They characterized by low series resistance, signifificant equivalent capacitance, long service life. Nowadays, they have become attractive alternative storage device for several applications. However, supercapacitors subject to degradation due aging, in addition other factors, such as temperature high voltage. Therefore, it is very important be able estimate their State-of-Health during operation. Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy Maxwell test recognized techniques determine supercapacitors’ state-of-health. these methods require the interruption of system operation thus cannot performed real-time (online). The purpose this paper estimation supercapacitor resistance which main indicators electrical behavior modeled using RC circuit model identifification two methods: recursive least squares method Kalman fifilter. capacitance values obtained compared experimental test. fifilter more accurate both capacitance.
